As they moved to Sweden, I started my thesis here in November 2008 and finished in November 2009. During that time I was working on metabolic engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in order to increase the isoprenoid produciton. At the end of my master a PhD position in a project with Aspergillus oryzae was vacant. In this project I will work on organic acid production. I am looking forward to the exciting years of my PhD in this friendly working environment.
