1997-
teaching at undergraduate level Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics and Molecular Biotechnology at different Universities (University of Zagreb, Technical University of Denmark and Chalmers University)

I supervised two M.Sc. students, 3 PhD students and 3 post-docs and was involved in co-supervision of few other students and training of 2  technicians.

2009 Wallenberg Foundation Travel Grant
Organization and Management
Besides managing my own scientific projects I have been working as project manager for several big projects which are coordinated by our group: since 2007 YSBN (EU-funded project in the 6th framework) and NordForsk and since 2008 SYSINBIO and FUtureSysBio (EU-funded project in the 7th framework).
I was in the organizing committee of the International Conference for Systems Biology ICSB2008 (Gothenburg, Sweden), Conference on Systems Biology of Microorganisms 2010 (Paris, France) and Gothenburg Life Science Conference XI (2010).
Personal text
I am coming from the background of molecular microbiology and have been working mainly on gene regulation (CodY) and protein phosphorylation (PY) in G+ bacteria (Lactococcus lactis, Bacillus subtilis). In the last few years I became interested in using unicellular Eukarya such as yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model organism for study of complex cellular functions, such as proteome maintenance, ageing and apoptosis.
