In 2007 I packed my bags and went to Seattle to study at the Bioengineering department at University of Washington. After coming home to Sweden, I did my Master thesis at AstraZeneca on a project studying intestinal drug metabolism. My main research interest is the human intestinal microbiota and I will use genome-scale metabolic modelling and metagenomics to study it.
